My girl friend presently has waist length hair. I love to see her in a shorter style and am sure she will love the decision to have the new look.
How do I approach the topic with her so that she is convinced and goes in for the new look ?

just straight up tell her add its good to try something new get her on the computer and show her some you like or tell her to donate her hair to somewhere like locks of love or something. you are a good bf asking before doing lol

Ease into the topic, because all girls are pretty sensitive about their hair, no matter what length or style. Maybe you can say something like, “Wow, you’re hair is so gorgeous, but have you ever imagined it a bit shorter? It’s beautiful now but I really think that would just amplify your look even more”.

U could show her some pictures and say that u were looking though the internet and u saw some hair styled that would suit her.
