Hair style for short hair ?

Im gonna be doing my friends hair for a 15th birthday party ..she has short hair upto her shoulders … what kind of hairstyle can I do, that will look nice on a 40 yr old Hispanic lady ???

See if she has it long enought to do a bun or top knot style, if not then flip the ends under or out.
