How should I style my new short hair?
So.. I have layered dark brown hair. It goes down a tiny bit past my shoulders. I just got it and i hate it. I want my layers to be visile. I used to have such nice long hair and i am having a hard time adjusting. I also want it to look similar to the picture below. Any product or styling suggestions??

Spike it with gel downwards then just keep your bangs straight.

she has teased the crown of her hair a little bit. lots of hairspray! there’s really not a lot of effort to that hairstyle you have shown above..it’s just the way her hair is cut..and i’m asuming she uses a flat iron.

I would suggest a straightener and maybe a little light moose to the ends of your hair. I’m trying to become a beautician. I’ve been styling hair since I was about 6 =] Hope that helps, I wish I could do it for you.
use hair wax.I use garnier fructis style-surf hair and it works great they also make wax that has shine in it to make your hair shiny.
either ur face is oval or heart shaped hear are my suggestions,
a side part and long wavy layers give the illusion that ur face is longer and narrower wether curly or thick,
