Depends on the look you are going for. And how short is it? If it is shorter then shoulder length then try putting some hair wax, not alot, in it while it is damp, not dripping wet or dry and try the messy look.

1.put it up in a hair bow
2.flatin it and put a clip in it
3.add a hair accessory in and your ready to go
